Bring music out to the town with your architecture.

What is music? Music is not just way to communicate with others. There are things that can't be interpreted with verbal communication. It carries memory and feelings. There are many things in common between music and architecture. Both of these are basic of human existence. Every culture on this planet has own style of music as architecture. The local music reflects the genius loci of the place. I was always puzzled by the reason why music is capable of expressing emotions with vivid colors. There was not supposed to be direct connection between visual and hearing from medical point of view. Every people on the planet feels romantic, when they hear love song. A lullaby makes people sleepy. Yet no scientist can tell the reason why people feel that way, even how far or how deep they make a research. It is because it is not matter of science but existence. Existence is the one you are suppose to observe and experience but not to analyze.

Grožnjan is the city of music, yet the place has no specific music to explain. The genius loci has never been properly connected to the image of music. I want you to find the way to match architecture with specific music without telling a word. The final presentation need to be conducted with some kind of music. You can find a musician in the town if possible. You can play or sing your own composition. Don't get me wrong. I am not expecting you to be great musician or composer. You can refer to music of quite primitive culture using just only timber sticks. You will find a specific site for your project and a site specific architecture, and you have to explain your architecture with your music!
