Badel Block is an opportunity to both revive the last underdeveloped area in historic Zagreb and introduce a vast array of new cultural, social and economic programs to the city. The site''s disparate historic structures demand an organization beyond the city''s classic courtyard block and towards a unique quilt typology that integrates new and old, living and working, built and open, commerce and culture. Badel Quilt brings it all together.
