Opis

Stitch together the disconnected urban fabric and green axis with material from Medvednica, the protected natural park over Zagreb. Weave a mat of wild flowers and plants into the urban fabric, creating spaces of specific character, texture, colour, smell and sound. Connect old and new towns with native plant species and provide a new transport interchange which reconnects the city and the suburbs. Create vibrant spaces by inhabiting the edges with cultural, commercial, retail, and leisure activities. Use historically significant materials in a modern and sustainable manner. Form an infrastructure of parks for the future development of Zagreb along the existing wild arteries of the river and railway.
