BADEL HORSESHOE
The project aims to restore the premises for the development of the parcel, ordering from a more complex equipped space, current and smart, combined with the culture of the XXI century. This will be the connective matrix between the city and Badel, a terrain vague full of possibilities as the last empty space of the expansion, in contact with many different patterns and densities. If we want alive cities we need complexity, in these sense we play with hybrid architecture, fleeing the zoning, where houses, markets, offices, sports facilities, cultural are superimposed.
The project is not intended as a megaproject, just the addition of many possible projects, not intended to make a unique intervention, just the sum of a lot along the time. The aim is to reproduce the urban scale appreciated by citizenship, without altering the classical level Zagreg block. The perimeter will go closing as the buildings are built, normally six floor townhouses. While the conveyer of activities belt screws itself and infiltrates, colonizing the interior of the block.
From the outside we perceive a unique Block, however a Folded Horseshoe colonizes the interior related with the city by the numbers of holes and passages which marks the pedestrian itinerary through pedestrian and mechanized access.
