Concept Idea
Our idea centered on the block as being a social stimulus, a catalyst for cultural and art progress, retaining the essence of its history and reanimating its functionality by opening new public facilities and creating a new square, at the same time not forgetting the economic parameters needed to secure easier funding or mixed partnership from private and public domains, resonates in the creation of educational spaces, workshop areas, artists’ ateliers, all in conjunction with commercial and residential complex and the hotel; thus encouraging social and cultural interaction.
Badel block is perceived by us as a platform for development, multifunctional hub used by consumers to introduce and promote new ideas created in the hub. The repertoire of the subject is endless. From exhibitions, performances, production, entertainment, to leisure and shopping, culinary niche with its small restaurants, bars, coffee shops, further to soothing green residential spaces, office spaces, student dormitory and hotel.
Public area is presented as on open space. Landscape design is centered on encouraging social interaction, dialogue and cooperation.
